Rain...

we had rain today. the weather was foggy and wet. i like this kind of weather. for some reason it makes me want to sleep. i feel like i can just relax and take it all in. for some people this sort of environment makes them depressed. it can be that way if you let it, but for me it's just the opposite. coming soon will be the state fair. i haven't been in several years. i'm lookin' forward to it. i want to go and get me a cinnamon roll!!!

i was at a falls creek meeting today in seminole oklahoma. small town charm, small town people. i read somewhere a comment on oklahoma. the comment stated that my state is full of nothing but rednecks and cows. it went on to say that the small towns are even worse and full of hicks, hillbillies, and rednecks. i'm not so sure about that. of course we have people like that, but i really never like to describe people by those kinds of ways. to me it's just people. yes they may be a bit different, but so am i and you. small towns actually have a lot of charm plus history. my family is from a small town. they all lived in one back in the day and the only reason why we all live in the city now is because of the job market. anyway, whatever. i love my state and have nothing bad to say about it. (i wasn't this optimistic when i was younger though...)

now for the music. here is the band Placebo. this is their album titled Without You I'm Nothing. i remember the last year or so listening to this album a lot. my ex-girlfriend loved it as much as i did and probably more. it's just good rock with a bit of the gothic edge, but not too much. hope you enjoy!!!

Time to pass you to the test
Hanging on my lover's breath
Always coming second best
Pictures of my lover's chest
Get through this night, there are no second chances
This time I might
To ask the sea for answers
Always falling to the floor, softer than it was before
Dog boy - media whore, it's who the hell you take me for

Give up this fight, there are no second chances
This time I might
To ask the sea for answers
These bonds are shackle free, wrapped in lust and lunacy
Tiny touch of jealousy, these bonds are shackle free

Get through this night, there are no second chances
This time I might
To ask the sea for answers
These bonds are shackle free
These bonds are shackle free
These bonds are shackle free
These bonds are shackle free

Get through this, there are no second chances
This time. To ask the sea for answers
