Danger, danger will robinson, uh i mean schuyler...

so i had the day off. it was spent traveling to ada, oklahoma and visiting my doctors. everything was fine, except for some results i got back from doing blood work last time. it seems all is not well in the schuyler camp. i'm not going to disclose any information here because this is the freekin' internet, but needless to say, it's pretty serious. i'm in bad health, so i have to have a change in lifestyle in order to get better. this is now another uphill battle that will trouble me for quite some time. let me go now please...

wait, you need some music right??? no??? well you're gettin' some anyway!!! here's Pearl Jam you people you!!!

pearl jam are one of the first bands i got into because of my parents. now i've mentioned many times that my parents are some of the founders for my current love of certain bands, but for me, pearl jam is the token "family" band that i shared with them. yes, they both loved pearl jam very much. in fact, this might be one of the few bands they both agreed on. and what also stands out to me is that pearl jam, along with most of the other grunge acts of their time, were one of the last "newer" bands that they accepted and followed. they don't really connect with current artists unless it's Coldplay or Wolfmother. lol (i like those bands too...)

ha ha, soooooooo pearl jam are probably the best grunge band to emerge in that notorious 90's scene. technically better than Nirvana and perhaps Mudhoney, pearl jam were one of the mainstream successes in that era, but just not the most cherished. (ala nirvana...) and i guess when it comes down to it, pearl jam are probably my favorite of the bunch and that's hard to say because nirvana and Soundgarden are exquisite.

the band started back in 1990 after the breakup of the bands, Green River and Mother Love Bone. original members, eddie vedder, stone gossard, jeff ament, mike mccready and dave krusen came together and started right away with their debut album, Ten. said album became a diamond platinum seller and is their best selling effort to date. that album, along with their next two releases, are multi platinum blah blah blah sellers and are the cannon of what i'm posting here tonight. yeah, dig this, pearl jam was also the first band me and my dad got to see together. that was back in 2003 and was a wonderful experience. heck, we even had Sleater-Kinney open the show!!! jawesome!!!

and speaking of those albums, looking below you will find them here. actually, these are my ultimate favorites from the band, so that's all i'm posting. these are legit, so get into it!!! oh, so yeah, the first album is called, Ten and that is followed up by their self titled album, also known as Vs. next is their wonderful third album, Vitalogy and then skipping the fourth one we end with the fifth album, Yield. these are the best of the best and if near by, go see the band. their live show is a dramatic and serious force to reckon with and it's a good time as well. dig it...

Waitin', watchin' the clock, it's four o'clock, it's got to stop
Tell him, take no more, she practices her speech
As he opens the door, she rolls over...
Pretends to sleep as he looks her over

She lies and says she's in love with him, can't find a better man...
She dreams in color, she dreams in red, can't find a better man...
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
Ohh...

Talkin' to herself, there's no one else who needs to know...
She tells herself, oh...
Memories back when she was bold and strong
And waiting for the world to come along...
Swears she knew it, now she swears he's gone

She lies and says she's in love with him, can't find a better man...
She dreams in color, she dreams in red, can't find a better man...
She lies and says she still loves him, can't find a better man...
She dreams in color, she dreams in red, can't find a better man...
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
Yeah...

She loved him, yeah... she don't want to leave this way
She feeds him, yeah... that's why she'll be back again

Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better man
Can't find a better... man...
