this will be Easter weekend. its an important time to remember the meaning of why God died for our sins. there's no shame in admitting my Christian faith. i mean, if you've ever paid any attention to this blog you'd probably have figured that out by now.
anyway, this weekend will also be a stickball retreat. if everything works out, me and kristy may be going down south to Broken Bow for the Jim Thorpe games. it looks to be an exciting time i hope. i'm just glad there will be people i know there. oh, and we will also be hitting up a powwow in Ada, so good times!!!

Baked Potato, Sweet Tea...
me and kristy are washing clothes. no, not the most amazing thing ever, but something to be done. this has been a good weekend and i just wanted to say that. i mean, how often do those happen??? me, kristy and her little sister when up to Stillwater to play stickball. that native american traditional sport has become something i've become enamored with. i love it!!! and being me, i love to love. i need love in my life. love of all things...
oh, and one last thing like all the last things i mention. kristy has gotten me into the show, Parks and Recreation. where have i been all this time??? that show is fantastic!!! its almost like The Office, but in its own self-contained world. pretty refreshing to find that little gem.

It Stinks, Thumbs Down...
Enter The Void sucked. cool special effects, but not so great a story. i even felt a little sick after watching it. that mostly came from the awful sex scenes.
Irreversible was an independent movie that thrived on its own personal self. Enter The Void felt like a re-hash of an idea already used by the same director. just this time it looked more cool and neon-like...
i hope The Hunger Games more than makes up for it.

Take A Trip Trip...

Thunder Up Ya Punx...
its close to midnight here. me and kristy just got back from playing basketball at the church. it's becoming a new thing for me and i'm starting to really love it. i actually made a few points!!! ha ha
speaking of basketball, we're both going to see the Oklahoma THUNDAAA play tuesday!!! we haven't been to a game since the playoffs last year. i'm quickly changing my lifestyle and becoming someone who appreciates life more often. for so long i've been a shut-in; one who stays away from others and wishes to not be involved. anyway time has moved on, seasons have changed and i'm much older. so old that i can feel it in my legs and feet, back and sides, head and shoulders. blah blah blah...
oh, and we're watching The Office right now, me and kristy. its good to share something i love with someone i love.
i'm full of total CHEESE!!! :^P

Warrior Pride, Frito Pie...
this is a special weekend here in oklahoma. the Anadarko Warriors are playing in the high school state championships. tomorrow is the big house. the state fairgrounds. i'm excited of course. there's something about seeing natives reach glory. sports is perhaps one of the best since its for the love of the game, and also because its pure.
oh, and i think sushi is on the menu as well, so hooray for raw fish and rice!!!
aww, and one more thing. i'm going to start writing for scene point blank now. i've been given the opportunity to show my writing in a new location and i'm stoked!!!

Stop Whispering, Start Shouting...
me and kristy are seeing radiohead tomorrow in dallas. the excitement is brewing. this will be my second time witnessing them live. first was back in the summer of 2008. i didn't have the best occasions, but for brief moments things became good. catching radiohead in person was one of those blips in my life that stands out. i believe my chances are better this jog because i'll be with someone very special to me and we'll both get to share the experience. God is good.
