You Have Five Minutes...

i just watched the movie Drive. it came out sometime last year and was a sleeper hit. i'll go ahead and say right off, that this was perhaps Ryan Gosling's best performance besides his role in Half Nelson, which was heartbreaking. i did some quick studying and have now come to find out the film is a sort of a noir piece. than makes sense since its a rather slow build type of film. very intense and worth all the time it took to reach its climax. its the kind of movie i enjoy more than others. you know, those long, zombie pace types that climb to some sort of conclusion, or nothing at all??? yeah, those kinds. Terrance Malick is king of that choice when it comes to film making. i'm always inspired by good art, and Drive is a film worth your time...
